We love home
Miss Lauren Jarvis, 21 & Mr Craig Blackett, 27 – The Clarendon at Mandale Park, Thornaby
“Planning a wedding and moving house is supposed to be two of the most stressful things you can do in your life. Thanks to Haslam Homes our move was made easy.
“The sales and site team took away all the stress of the move and were quick to answer any queries - I only wish they could do the same for the wedding!”
Kendray: Jack Dale said: “I particularly wanted a stone fronted house and the Cranford was just what I wanted at a price I could afford. The house value has now increased so I am selling it, through Haslam Homes’ Easy Key Scheme, to buy a Howarth on the same site. This is a proper family house and I plan to live in it for a long time. The Cranford house is in a cul de sac of just six houses, it’s really quiet and I am sure will sell quickly. Perceptions about Kendray have changed over the past couple of years and it is now considered by many people I meet to be a desirable place to live.”
Meanwhile, mum, Pearl Dale, was thinking about leaving her home in Sheffield and moving into a bungalow.
He said: “She thought my house looked gorgeous so when the board went up announcing the bungalows she came, had a look and signed up straight away. She has lived in the same house for the past 29 years but is really excited about moving here.
Tunstall: Keith and Margaret Hilditch are delighted withtheir lovely new home. He said: “We have always lived nearby. Margaret was born 200yds from this house and our previous house was less than 500yds away. But we wanted to have a house that was easy to look after and this two and a half storey Haslam Home is ideal.
Liverpool, Dobson Street, Patrick Connolly said: “Moving to our brand new home is just brilliant and the estate is lovely. What a nice quiet layout – we just can’t fault it. Before we moved in my brother in law, who is a builder, wanted to go round the house and do his own snag list. He was amazed. There weren’t any problems. He was so impressed, he said the finish was superb and the house was fantastic. The Mrs is made up and so am I!”
“We’ve lived in a terraced house in Granton Road for 33 years and raised our three lads there. This is our first move and we’re really looking forward to it.
“We’ve never had a garden before and now we’ve got a nice big garden – we’re looking forward to that most of all. It will be great to sit and relax and wonderful for the grandchildren. We’ve even got a space to park the car – brilliant!”
